This is the most remote and wild island on our tour. It has a rugged landscape, with rocky cliffs, caves, and cacti. You can explore the island by foot or by boat, and see amazing views of the ocean and the horizon. You can also spot rare birds and reptiles that live on this island.
The tour lasts for 15 days, starting from Antananarivo, the capital city of Madagascar. From there, we fly to Nosy Be Island, where we spend three days exploring its attractions. Then we take a boat to Sainte Marie Island, where we spend two days enjoying its natural beauty and history. Next we sail to Mitsio Archipelago, where we spend two days snorkeling and diving among its coral reefs. After that we head to Radama Archipelago, where we spend three days hiking and kayaking around its forests and beaches. Finally we reach Barren Island, where we spend two days discovering its wildness and isolation. We then fly back to Antananarivo for our departure.
The tour costs $3,500 per person (excluding flights), which includes all transport, accommodation, meals, activities, entrance fees, taxes, tips, and guides. The tour is suitable for anyone who is in good physical condition and has a sense of adventure. The tour is available all year round (except during cyclone season), but the best time to go is between May and October.
